Steampunk Computer by steamworker Steampunk Computer by steamworker
www.steampunker.de

Fully working Steampunk workstation consisting of a computer table, a computer, a monitor, a wireless keyboard and a wireless mouse. The table was build from an old Singer sewing machine. The wood was completely reapplied (the patina retained). Three compartments provide storage space for small items. The PC was installed in an old wooden radio cabinet.

Thanks a lot for your interest and your comments!!! :) i feel overrun by the comments, so i cant answer every single comment.

but yes, every piece is full working. there is a short movie-clip on my youtube-channel. Also there was an TV report that shows how this workstation was made (but in german only).

Very cool. I could see computers looking like that had the Victorians come up with them.

As a computer nerd AND a steam-punk aficionado, this is a match made in heaven for me! By the way, my mom has one of those treadle sewing machine tables. Same make and model, as it were.
